PhotoAssist is a photographer’s assistant for planning! It will help you manage what is needed for your next photography or video shoot. You can create equipment lists for various types of photo shoots including nature, sports, wedding, or travel shoots, ensuring you have everything needed. You can add to the already supplied set of lists to create your own, or delete ones you don’t need. You can also keep an inventory of photo equipment you already have giving you an easily portable database for all your photo and video equipment needs.

This app also features a Sunrise/Sunset calculator to help you find the right times for the perfect lighting. You can either find the times for your current location and date, or pick a date in the future and select from a list of popular US cites to find when the sun will rise or set in that location. This helps you plan ahead for the perfect time to shoot you photographs or video.

Why did I buy this?

:
Do not waste your money. I bought this mainly to help put an inventory list together and it helped minimally. I had to input everything myself because the gear list provided cameras and lenses of the 4 major brands, that's it. Then when I went to email myself the inventory it left out my serial numbers which I especially needed to give to my insurance rep.
Can't scroll to the bottom of the page so the last item can't be edited.
Only thing worth while is the sun calculator which I'm sure I could have found one for free.

Appears to be incomplete

:
This app has made a good start in the task of documentation, but the product appears to be only partially functional. There is an inventory but there is no obvious way to add equipment to this list.

Now Even a Better App

:
Thanks for the latest updates. I like the look of the new menu. The previous menu version is still available if preferred I never realized how much equipment I had until I started using this app. It has definitely come in handy as I plan for my spring photo outings. The option to e-mail equipment lists is a great addition to this app. Maybe as a long term plan the serial numbers could also be e-mailed as well. Thanks for listening to the feedback.
